A few words from our 2025 Captain 

 

“Golf is not just about winning; it is about enjoying the game with friends.”

 

This I feel is the ethos of Seniors Golf. 

 

In Truro we are very fortunate in Truro to have a very friendly and supportive Seniors Section. 

 

In 2025, I hope to continue with the rich mix of Seniors’ Competitions which have been very successful over 2024. During the winter months we will continue with a Frostbite Competition, a Winter Pairs Knockout Competition and early January sees our first fun competition of the year.

 

We have 15 home and 15 away matches confirmed for 2025 starting in early March. These matches are a wonderful way to play different courses throughout Cornwall.  I would really encourage those who have not played in these matches to give them a go. I will send details of how to enter in the New Year. 

 

You will also receive regular Captain’s updates (in the News section of our website) with results and details of upcoming events, matches and competitions. We hope to have a few more social events this year.

 

I would also encourage you to visit our new Seniors’ website which has a link from the TGC Website. This is very user friendly and has a wealth of information. It will keep you informed of that is TGC Seniors Golf.

 

I am sure 2025 will be a year full of fun, laughter and some good golf.
